RESISTANCE

Do White Mothers Cry? and Silence are heart wrenching poems. Focused on the historical oppression, subjugation, murders and injustices perpetrated on African Americans. The author is unapologetic in her telling. Readers witness systemic institutionalized oppression, resulting death and anguish. The author ask the question, Do White Mothers Cry?
